How can Eastern Wisdom be an effective tool to manage anxiety?

Eastern Wisdom
Millions of people in the world today suffer from anxiety related challenges. Some of the known symptoms are unease, discomfort, fear; worry remains present after the stressor/s are gone.

The Eastern Wisdom says that ‘mind lives in five subjective states- wandering, forgetfulness, fancies, one-pointedness, and emptiness. The masters say that the first three states cause mental challenges including anxiety, stress, and suffering. The one-pointed state in Eastern Wisdom is much more than merely a focus of the mind. The one-pointed state isa qualified state of mind of a person who becomes a seeker treading the path to self-discovery.

There are hundreds of practices that discipline and educate the mind to become a seeker, including various methods of conscious rest, removing wrong notions and thinking through contemplation and reflection on the principles of self-discovery, withdrawal of the mind from the world of people, place, possession, events and the time.

A person having challenges of anxiety related problems, the teacher of the Eastern Wisdom takes life history, understand mental and emotional states, introduce simple principles that relate to his challenges, guided active and passive practices that personalized every week.
It is not a single meditation practice that helps, those who have mental and emotional challenges. Eastern wisdom is 6000 years old, supported by 3000 texts that detail principles and practices. When the expert teacher who knows the foundational principles of mind, can easily and effectively manage the mental problems.

Buddha’s life before and after was a miracle. Valmiki, a great master, emerged out of his previous life as a dacoit. Can we relate his life suffering from PTSD and later became an enlightened master? When principles and practices of eastern wisdom are applied based on the temperament, mental states, severity of the symptoms with personalized practices, people show great improvement and lead to the freedom from suffering.
